Aki Mural Studio Chicago creates custom oil and acrylic paintings on stretched canvas or directly on panels. Our artists will paint pet portraits, painting reproductions, landscape oil paintings, and abstract oil paintings. All paintings can be rendered in oil paint and acrylic paint. An artist will meet with you for a free consultation, where you may share your photographs, clippings, and ideas you would like utilized in the rendering of the artwork. After the consultation, we will give you an estimate of cost. Pricing is based on the complexity, size, and level of detail you would want to have included in the painting, and shipping costs if applicable. Please note that oil paintings are generally more expensive than acrylic paintings. If you wish to proceed with the project an initial sketch is created for you to review. Upon approval, our artists will begin to create your painting. To watch progress of your painting, photographs can be taken and sent to you via email. Upon completion of the project, paintings can be delivered or picked up at our studio if you live in the Chicago or Chicagoland area. Paintings can also be packaged and shipped throughout the United States and worldwide.
Pet portraits are just one of the many types of paintings that Aki Mural Studio Chicago. Cat portraits, dog portraits, bird portraits, horse portraits are the more common subjects, but we will create any animal portrait that you request. Generally these portraits are done from photographs, but if you live in the Chicago or Chicagoland area a visit to your pet can be arranged to photograph your friend by our artist. When painting a pet portrait it is always helpful to have various photos to use as a reference for the final custom pet portrait painting.
