Aki Mural Studio Chicago can create custom wall murals, trompe l'oeil, and canvas paintings for businesses and homes throughout the United States and internationally. Murals may be applied directly to walls, or can be painted onto canvas and then installed. Our muralists can travel to your location wherever it may be, and will paint your custom mural or trompe l'oeil directly on the wall surface. Murals done on canvas can be rolled up and shipped directly to your door then applied to the wall like wallpaper. Painting a mural on canvas is a great option for those who might want to take the artwork with them when moving. Our canvas murals can be safely removed and re-installed in your new home or business.
Aki Mural Studio Chicago will work closely with you to create the artistic effect you desire. After receiving your email or phone call, one of our artist will contact you for a free artistic consultation. If you live in Chicago or the Chicago suburbs, one of our artists can meet with you at the location site. If you are located outside of the region, the consultation may be done through email: we will need to know the dimensions of the wall or surface you wish to have the artwork applied to, and any ideas you may have regarding images or designs. Sometimes using a search engine like Google or Yahoo might help you find ideas. We encourage you also to visit our mural and trompe l'oeil galleries for inspiration as well.
Once the consultation has been completed, you will be given a detailed estimate. Our pricing for murals and trompe l'oeil is based on the dimensions of the wall, complexity of the design, the surface area(regular wall, stairway, etc...), travel expenses, and level of detail you prefer. If you wish to proceed, our artists will create a sketch for your input and review. Upon approval, our artists will begin the process of creating your mural or trompe l'oeil. We will consult with you on design, color, materials, and details to the murals environment. When creating a mural or painting on canvas in our studio, pictures can be sent to you via email for you to see your artwork develop. Clients are also welcome to see the progress by arranging appointments to visit our studio in Wicker Park.
